Maple Glazed Salmon
Savor the exquisite blend of savory salmon and sweet maple glaze in our Maple Glazed Salmon recipe. A culinary delight in every bite!
Ingredients:
- 17oz salmon, cut into 4 or 5 fillets
- salt + pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil, for cooking
For the glaze:
- 1/3 cup real maple syrup
- 1 tbsp dijon mustard
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp ponzu sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Directions:
- Pat salmon dry and cut into fillets of around 3.5oz each. Top with salt and pepper.
- Preheat the oven to 375F.
- To a small bowl, add all the glaze ingredients and whisk together. Set aside.
- Over medium high heat, preheat an oven-safe pan with the oil and place the salmon skin side up in the pan and cook for about 1-2 minutes. Flip the salmon and cover liberally with the glaze.
- Place the pan in the preheated oven and cook salmon until medium, about 8 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and baste each fillet with the glaze a few times. Top with sesame seeds and green onion. Serve over rice and bok choy and enjoy!
